I hate Carribean forecasts!

Yes, I know it's rainy season. But why must the forecasts call for rain every stinking day?! I'm fairly certain (fingers crossed) that we will have some sunshine, it just gets me so nervous that our special trip is going to be a wash out.

Don't worry, we had the SAME forecast for Jamaica and it rained for all of 40 minutes in TOTAL for the week.

Don't stress too much-i went to St. Maarten last month-forecast said rain every day. and YES it did rain every day but not ALL day. Maybe a 10 minute down pour (literally down pour heavy rain) then the rain cloud moved away and the sun was back out! Did this maybe 2-3 times a day; but never ever got in the way of our vacation! When it rained we just hung out under the cabana or went to lunch LOL!

It rained every day we were in Jamaica - and it was perfect. For about 5 mins, it was a complete downpour. It actually felt great and refreshing after being in the hot sun all day. I think one day it lasted maybe 10 mins so we just ducked under the shelter of the bar and had a cocktail. One day it rained in the amount of time it took me to run upstairs and grab my book. I came back down and was like why is the sidewalk all wet?

It was completely sunny 5 mins before and 5 mins after the rain. It's not like here where the clouds and gloom stick around all day or for a few days.
