I had my annual review today
and it went really really well! I was suprised to hear what my supervisor had to say since most of the time I feel like my work goes unnoticed. Like when I work really hard and do a good job, I get "rewarded" with picking up the slack for someone else. My supervisor actually said that I am the most productive worker here It feels good to finally have ti acknowledged. I was also suprised to hear that someone VERY IMPORTANT has told my manager that they are very impressed with my thoughts and decision making.
But now here is the bad news... I get the same raise as everyone else in the company How is that fair??? I read the thread the other day about annual increases and I think this is pretty common. It makes me now want to work as hard because what is in it for me?

Congrats on the great review. I have BTDT with the hearing all of the accolades and then here's your "big, fat raise...it's the same as all of the other employees here whose work is subpar, but we just want to keep it fair".

I am glad I got a good review... but really.. what is the point? I know if I am lazy I will get the same $$$ and probably have an easier life!!!
