I had a terrifying dream last night

I dreamed that I left one of the stove top burners on and something caught fire, I was so into this dream that I woke up so scared that I convinced myself I smelled smoke. I ran into Johns room grabbed him (woke the poor thing up) practically threw him at DH and ran downstairs. Of course nothing was wrong, but it scared me so much, DH was yelling at me because I did all of this without telling him what was happening.

Afterwards I lay in bed thinking, what would we had done IF there really was a fire? How do I get my son out of the house? What do I take, if anything?

I just went on One Step Ahead and ordered this



I made sure all important papers/documents were in our safe Its such a scary thing to think about

It is something I think about all the time. I REALLY need to buy one of those ladders and have even posted about it before.

I am off to research ladders.

Which room are you keeping the ladder in? Did you buy one for all the bedrooms?

BTW, thank goodness it was only a dream. I am sure it was VERY scary though.
