I had a dream
That I found out I was having a girl and she was up to 11 lbs 1oz. It was funny because I kept telling my husband she had really big feet (on the sono).
I was 10 lbs 1 oz when I was born

I don't know how much of that is inhereted  anyone else know if that runs in families?
I believe younger siblings tend to be larger than their older siblings at birth....
On both of our sides, we have medium sized ( 7lb) babies.... so I think we'll have the same....

My dad was 10lbs, 11oz...I was 8lbs, 11oz, 21inches. My younger sister was smaller. However in DHs family - he is 1 of 7 - the babies got bigger as the numbers grew.
I've heard that your baby will be an average of what you and your DH were. If that's true, I'm looking at an 8lb'r...though I am hoping for a bigger one. I'm crazy, I know.
