I got a shipment of live outdoor plants today
but I can't get them into the ground until tomorrow. Should I keep them in the garage overnight rather than the house? I don't want to leave them out back since it's been really windy today and with my luck they'd be gone in the morning.

yes--I think the garage would probably be closer to the outdoor temp, so that is probably better. I don't have a garage, so I have left them outside, but didn't have the wind issue at the time.
