I gave in to the hype
I bought a Dyson... Dyson D14 Complete. I was in sticker shock when I left Sears ($579) but I got it home and I almost want to eat off my floors they look and feel so clean. You can tell the difference from my 6 year old Hoover Windtunnel. I love this vacuum!!!

We have one and like it alot. I honestly can't tell if it does THAT much better of a Job on our floors but DH seems to think so!

It is the animal one but it comes with all the attachments. I love this thing!!!
