I forgot how much internals hurt early on
I had my first internal this week (35 weeks, 4 days) and dayam did that hurt!! I have a tipped uterus and my cervix was wayyyy up high so for the doc to reach she really had to push up there  It was so painful! With my first DD my early internals were painful because my cervix tends to start up way high up but then the internals get less painful as everything "drops" and its easier for them to reach. The doc wanted to stop torturing me (her words) but said she thinks I am probably like a fingertip dilated. Next week I schedule my C section so I am hopng I make it to my C section date! I will also have another internal on Monday that I am dreading.

ON the bright side you have some progress  !!! I feel bad about the pain though
I had my first internal on Monday and it wasn't painful...just a little uncomfortable. I did have some cramping later that night though which wasn't fun.

glad there is SOME progress!!
At my practice I think its optional at 35 weeks but they definitely start at 36 weeks. I asked to have one though because I was feeling alot of BH contractions.

I had my first internal @ 35 weeks it didnt hurt...last night i had an internal and WHOA! She was all up in there and it was so uncomfortable!
I was so crampy last night!
