I fell down my stairs

I had on slippers and was going down my wooden stairs and I fell all the way down on my butt! My husband heard a huge bang and came to see if I was okay. Besides my hand getting scraped I am okay. Please reassure me baby is okay too! I just fell down and landed on my butt but of course, I am worried.

Oh no! This happened to my friend when she was in her 3rd trimester. Baby was ok but she was having contractions and didn't even know it. Like I said, everything turned out fine and baby stayed put but you might want to call your dr. just in case they want to double check.

awww, i know its scary but I'm sure the baby is fine, especially since you landed on your butt. I fell UP the stairs the other week and thankfully landed on my hands and knees, scraping them and ripping my pants I was a little worried too but the baby's heartbeat was fine and everything at my doc appt a few days later. I wouldn't worry too much

be careful out there ladies! I am getting better shoes this winter for sure.

I'm sure everything is fine since baby is well cushioned in there, but knowing me, I wouldn't feel better until I had the doctor check me out. It wouldn't hurt and it will make you feel a whole lot better

I'm sure that baby is ok. There is a lot of protection and padding in there.

Our front stoop collapsed on me when I was 11 weeks pg with dd. It was very icy and the whole thing crumbled right underneath me. I feel of course forward but I put my hands out to catch me. I called the dr who wanted to see me, they did a sono and everything was of course fine. But I know how scary it is.

Thank goodness for butt padding! I hope that you are both ok. Rest and give your DR a call for piece of mind.

I fell with my first pregnancy at 28 weeks. I fell on my side. But i called the dr anyway and she sent me to labor and delievery just for peace of mind. Everything was fine.

I'm sure you're fine. I fell 2x when I was pregnant with DD1- once I tripped outside my BILs house and fell onto a post light and it jabbed e in the side(it hurt like hell and I went in for a sono the next day- everything was fine). It hurt for a few weeks.

The second time I slipped on ice and fell down my front stoop stairs- I was more concerned with being embarrassed because all my neighbors were out shoveling snow.

She is perfectly fine!

This time around I did the same thing you did- slid down the stairs on my butt.

I had quite a bruise on my rear end (despite having more than adequate padding), but baby is fine! (So is DD1- who I was carrying down the stairs.

I also fell when I was PG....wiped out in front of Target on the painted lines...they are so slippery when it is wet!

I am not sure how many weeks you are but if you feel movement already have they been the same? If so, don't worry about it. Good thing it was on the booty, and not on your stomach but if you're concerned give your OB a call for peace of mind.
