I failed the Glucose test! What next?
So the normal is I think 135 and I was 138. Is it common to fail and what are the chances of me faling the 3 hr?
I am taking the 3 hr this coming Tues, so should I be watching what I eat until then??
If you do fail the 3hr, then what? They just change your diet?
This suxs!

If you were that close on the 1 hr, I'd bet willing to be that you'll pass the 3 hr!!!

I failed the 1 hr and passed the 3 hr....my doctor told me to watch my sugar intake before the 3 hr and make sure you fast before. Good Luck!

I would say its safe to assume you'll pass the 3 hour if you only missed it by 3 points. I missed mine by 30  and have yet to go for my 3 hour. Definitely watch your sugar and carb intake a day or two before your test. My dr. told me if I failed the 3 hour I would have to go to an endocrinologist to have them work on my diet with me. But if I were you I wouldn't even worry about that, sounds like you'll do fine with the 3 hour. Good luck!

I'm sorry I know it stinks! I failed the 1 hour with 159..apparently it is very common
but I passed the 3 hour. I definitely watched what I ate the whole week before the 3 hour.

Oh no!!! I failed the 1 hour with a 148 and have to take the 3 hour on Friday. It sux!!

i got 137 and passed the 3 hour one... youll be fine dont worry just fast for the 3 hour and dont eat carbs or sugary things the day b4

Im sorry!! I have heard its VERY common to fail the one hour. I agree with everyone else; Im sure being as that you were so close, you wont have any problem with the 3 hr.
I am so afraid to go for mine. I eat sugar and carbs like its the only food on earth!!

The same with me, I eat only carbs and sugar. I wont eat Red meat, and only chicken occasionally.
My DH just dragged me grocery shopping to buy more protein and vegetables.
I just pray that I pass the 3 hr.

oh! i know how u feel!
you'll pass the 3 hr...u were only off by a few points ( i failed and i was off by a few pts. as well!)
good luck w/the 3 hr. you'll do fine! just remember to bring snacks/water w/u!
