I dont know what to do
I am so upset...I literally haven't had a meal in about 5 days. My anxiety is so bad...I am off paxil b/c we wereTTC and now I am pregnant. When my anxiety gets really bad I lose my appetite completely, so now I feel weak, jittery, anxious constantly. I am taking down Christmas decorations to try and keep myself busy and I am crying. It was so hard with DS the 1st trimester b/c I didnt want to take my medicine but I forgot how hard it was. Now I remember. When my anxiety gets bad I get odd symptoms...numbness and tingling, headaches anything you can think of so now for the past 2 weeks I am thinking I have something wrong with me and that I have multiple sclerosis or something  It is terrible. I am calling the dr. tomorrow to see what else I can go on but the idea of taking anything in the 1st trimester scares the crap out of me. I would never forgive myself if there is something wrong with my baby b/c I have a panic disorder.
Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. Definitely call the doctor and ask if there is anything they can suggest you take that would be safe. I don't know if you've tried cognitive-behavior therapy, but that can be very effective too. I also highly recommend this book, it's so helpful: When Panic Attacks.

I am sorry to hear that your panic attacks are that bad.. I get them as well... I was on lexapro until I found out I was pregnant.. Since then I took myself off the meds.. my dr. has no clue.. but I told my obgyn.. I keep telling myself when it gets really bad, do it for the baby... the baby is what matters.. so far I have been ok.. a few minor and a few major attacks here and there but I call my best friend and she helps me through it...
Talk to your dr.. I know there are meds that are safe to take during pregnancy... Me I chose to stop all meds...

i know how you feel - - my ocd is driving me crazy. luckily it's not as bad as it has been (i think the hormones are stabilizing it) but it's awful to feel like there's nothing you can do.
