I don't get people - BRU incident - (gross)
I went shopping for DD there and someone threw used tissues into my shopping cart under the clothes I put in it.
How gross???? Now I'm hesitant to give DD the baby food I bought there since it was on top of the clothes. What kind of crap would do such a thing? Is thoroughly gross - most of my stuff was scanned and bagged by the time I found it. I came home and wiped the outside of the food containers with an alcohol based hand wipe. I still can't bring myself to put them in the pantry even though DH said the tissues didn't touch the food and we "sanitized" the outsides.
All I can say is YUK. Must have happened when I turned my back to pull something off a shelf or whatever. Gross! I hope it was a kid, if it was an adult I'd be losing faith in humanity.

Wait, how did they put them under your stuff with out you seeing them do it? Did you leave your cart for a while?
Anyway, thats totally gross!! Some people are nasty!!
I wouldn't worry about the baby food, as long as you washed the outside of the jars I'm sure there ok.

ick! some people!
I wouldnt worry about the baby food though either, as long as you alcoholed doen the jars its OK. They are all sealed and fine.

I think worse happens with stuff on the shelf. People pick their nose or cough on their hands and touch things and put them back all the time. Unless your food is opened, I wouldn't worry about it.
The tissues were probably there already and you didn't notice them. I don't see how someone could lift your items and put them there without you noticing. That seems just really ridiculous when you think about it. I see used tissues in carts all the time at the stores.

I agree with this. Im sure its fine...the food INSIDE the packaging was not affected?
