I don't get it..

So on Friday for my baseline they saw 5 follies, I went in today after 3 days of follistim, and now they only see 3. What happened to the other 2? The woman who did the sono today was fast, so maybe she didn't look carefully enough? I guess I should have asked

Don't worry too much.
A: Not everyone reads the sono the same...I've had cases where one day there were follies at 16 and then the next day there were none over 14. That's why they combine your blood results with sono info.
B: the smaller follies may not have developed any further so they aren't showing up.

Yes I agree with Gerty...some days I feel like depending on who is doing the scanning..they see more than others. I try to count in my head (I have a lot bc of my PCOS) but it always seems like a diff. #.

This happened to me too. Last week I had 12 follicles. Then on Sunday I only had 10! It was a different nurse and she was really busy so it might be because of that but when I asked her, she said it was because some of the smaller ones didn't continue to grow.
