Thought we had more time but dd will ofically no longer let me feed her. This morning she took over her last thing that I still had control over, yogurt. It was messy but she got almost all of it in her stomach instead of on her. 19 months and she thinks shes all grown up.

You're lucky. DS started self feeding much earlier than that. They get better with time, but I usually just change his outfit after yogurt!

You are so lucky, I would have loved to feed her until 19 months but DD insisted on feeding herself entirely since 12 months. And she was neat then. Now at almost 2.5 she is messier than ever. She eats so slow and prefers her hands-- even for yogurt! ew. hands! I don't get it when she does perfectly fine with her spoon and fork... but I just use bibs and change clothes often.
