i did it!

DS is going to be on the cross country track team as he starts high school. his first practice is monday morning. so, today, i took him to the princeton running store.

they checked out his walking and recommended the proper shoe for him. $100 even with a 10% discount because he's on a school team (awesome).

while we were there, i found the courage to ask about my own walking (not ready for running, yet). so, the nice young man checked me out, too that sounds naughty... and i bought myself a pair of walking/running shoes. mine were also $100... but no discount lol

i think i have absolutely no excuses left

That's awesome, trust me it will feel great the first time you run in them! You should do week 1 of the couch to 5k this week! Go, Go, Go!!
