I crack myself up sometimes....
Yesterday AM, my Dh called me to tell me that his parents offered to pay for the crib. Very nice gift, I know and I was happy to hear that.
But, smartazz me, says to my husband, "we'll just have to find the most expensive one we can now. or, we'll have one built."

there ya go!! thats thinking!
I was in the same boat...originally we were going to plan to get a crib to match the furniture we already have in the spare bedroom (because its pretty nice and in good shape)...but once DH's parents offered to buy us a whole new set...suddenly, we needed a whole new set!!
