i could use some advice!
i have a family portrait with avajack in a few weeks and i need ideas for us to wear. i'm thinking jeans and sweaters, but what colors do i do? my DS are 6 and 5, boys. and what colors do my husband and i wear? it's in october and we are doing it outside. any help would be very much appreciated!!!

I would do a black sweater and jeans.
Fall maybe even brown would look good too.

We do a lot of those portraits and I would advise wearing colors that do not clash with each other, keep it in one family.
My very favorite familiy portrait of us ever was the one where all four of us were wearing white tops, denim bottoms and were photographed against a white backdrop. I prefer muted, pale colors or something dark, no brights.
Just keep it simple and in similar style and colors scheme for all family members.

i love the idea of the white tops, but there is one problem. me and my DS are very pale and when we wear white shirts it tends to wash us out. so i def want to a color, but do i do me and my DH in the same color or the kids in the same color? or all of us in different colors and just do solids?

I will say all the same color or the kids one color and you and DH a complementary color... It will be nice a brown or fall color

I would wear brown or black. Maybe a cream color.
I can't do white either because it washes me out.
