I could never have 2 usernames...a question

I tried to post under a new anonymous username....I somehow got logged back IN as me.
I don't want to go into detail so
I'll keep it short and simple: has anyone taken anti-depressants during pregnancy? If so, can you FM me.

I haven't but my BFF did, Xanax (sp?) I believe. I would def talk to your OB to see what they allow.

Crashing. This is something I've discussed with both my psychiatrist and my OBGYN in the past, though its sort of irrelevant for me now. Both said that what I was on (Prozac) has been around for a long time and they would feel safe with me on it AFTER the first trimester.

I have another friend that was on Zoloft the whole time she was pregnant and her son is 2 1/2 and doing very well---he may have gone through minor withdrawl after birth but is completely fine.

With DC2 I was on lexapro the whole time. I'm having DC3 tomorrow and have also been on a generic of celexa the whole time. I researched and discussed at length with OB and psychiatrist. Consensus was that I needed to be on the meds. I tried to come off during the first trimester with DC2 but it was disastrous. He was born healthy.

Xanax was actually something they told me Absolutely NOT to take.
