I consolidated all my stupid questions into one post!
#1 Let's say you drop something, what is the easiest way to pick it up? If I bend down at the area formerly known as my waist I get winded. Is squatting okay? The other day I just sat on the floor and then I couldn't get back up because the floor hurt my knees so bad! (I was home though and eventually did it)
#2 HOW MANY THINGS can a person drop in a day. When I wasn't this big, I never dropped anything. Now, I am dropping things left and right and sometimes I just leave them. Oh well.
#3 How can I make driving more comfortable? I have my seat all the way back because I am scared of the air bags but that means whenever I have to turn, change lanes or look at an intersection I have to pull myself up to see and its like doing a crunch!
#4 Is anyone still sleeping on their stomach at 32+ weeks? I am comfortable but it makes the baby move like crazy, I know I can't technically squish the baby but obviously something is going on that makes him/her move. So annoying!
ETA another question: #5 What is with the excessive sweating at night! OMG!!!! I sleep with the A/C blowing on me and I am DRIPPING sweat! This morning, I thought I peed the bed!!!!

#1 - I find the easiet way to pick something up is to squat or to hold onto to something & lean down without bending...more like having your as S go straight up in the air -
#2 - Apparently NOT enough things because I drop pretty much everything I go to pick up.
#3 - My car has the option to move the gas & the brake pedals towards you without having to move your seat back. I just make sure to have a decent amount of room between my belly & the wheel.
I wouldn't change my seating position to the point that you have it. It sounds like you are uncomfortable & sitting too low/back if you have to "crunch" when making a turn. Also your seatbelt should be worn where the top strap is in between your breast & the bottom is underneath your belly. This is the SAFEST way for wearing it.
# 4 - I don't sleep on my belly because its not comfortable for me at this point & I'm pretty sure I read somewhere after a certain amount of weeks, its best to sleep on your sides only - not even your back. I would think if s/he is moving around when you are laying like that - that it means they are not comfortable.

1. Squatting is not only okay, it's good exercise to help prepare for labor. And it's the only way I can ever pick anything up off the floor... otherwise I'd fall over.
2. Infinity. Same goes for how much you can spill on your belly in one day.
3. I never thought about this before, probably because I have long arms.
4. I stopped sleeping on my stomach at 15 weeks during my first pregnancy and never went back to it. It would be the most uncomfortable thing in the world for me.

LOL ok thank you for your responses!! And so true about spilling things too! Its ridiculous. I put on a shirt right before mass, and took it off right after so I could wear it again without washing it - no luck, still got it stained right on the belly! LOL What could I have dropped on it?
