How did I get so lucky

I can't wait!
I am in my 36 week and my doctors have such different opinions.
Dr.1 says this week...schedule a c section Dr.2 says lets wait and see...he's hoping for 39 weeks vaginal birth!
I don't want to rush things, but I am so DONE! My back is kiiling me and my legs feel numb -- DH has to help me lift them by the end of the day!
I just needed to vent, but then I feel guilty complaining, since it took us so long to get to this point in our lives.
Thanks for listening!

Re: I can't wait!
Stacey...I know how you feel. The one Dr. was ready to induce me at 37 weeks and the other wanted me to go to 38 weeks, and Im glad I convinced him to go at 37 weeks...because I know how rough it is and so uncomfortable. How is your blood pressure and swelling. I would try and do a vaginal birth, I dont know what it is like to have a c-section, but taking care of twins and having a sore tummy may not be the most comfortable thing. You do what is best for YOU and those babies

Re: I can't wait!
Thanks Diane... My BP is fine, but I have been sooo swollen, since my 3rd month. It is getting so bad now that I don't even recognize my feet! If I lean against anything with my legs, I get a huge indent there because I am so swollen.
I know things will get tougher when the babies arrive...and I keep hearing "be careful what you wish for" so I am so torn about pushing the issue and waiting.

Re: I can't wait!
Oh so close... I have no experience with twins, but I'd try for the vaginal birth if possible. I had a c/s and a VBAC and I can honestly say the recovery from the v-birth was far better.
Go with your instincts. Either way, your two beautiful children will be here before you know it!

Re: I can't wait!
Oh, you two girls are my inspiration Especially since all three of us are teachers.
I think I'd try for the vaginal birth as well because like Diane said you'll have twins and a c-section recovery but then again what's going to happen is going to happen.
I hope you aren't uncomfortable 24-7 and wish you the best of luck
I'm so going to need you two come the early spring

Re: I can't wait!
I'm sure that the two doctors giving you different opinions isn't making life easy for you Stacy.. but I know that you will make the right decision for YOU and that as long as your babies are born healthy that is the important part
Good luck with everything, you will be a Mommy SOON!
