I can't keep up!!!

I just need to vent. Can't vent on Facebook, lol.

Between my not yet 2 year old and puppy, I'm up to my eye balls in poop and pee.
We bought a fixer upper and My husband is the fixer upper. So My house is in perpetual construction which means there is dust, materials, tools, and stuff everywhere.
I can't keep up with cleaning because kids, dog, and dh just make mess after mess.
My yard is also getting an overhaul so more dirt comes inside than stays out.
And money goes out before it has the chance to relax.

I'm happy. I don't want to sound ungrateful. And I think I'm getting my period. It's just hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Tell me it's hormones, lol!

Uggh, this is my life if you trade the puppy for a 5yo. Almost 10 years of perpetual construction. We are in the midst of a big project right now, tools and dry wall dust everywhere, and dh just had minor surgery so we're at a standstill. I'm trying to clean for a birthday party tomorrow and dh is dragging his feet on putting all his stuff away. So frustrating although I know he's in pain. To add to the frustration my 2yo has been so clingy all day and constantly asking to be picked up or crying if I leave the room to try to do anything. So unlike her and the worst timing. I'm jealous of the yard project though. I just sent dh out to get hanging plants before the party to disguise from the fact that we haven't touched the yard all season.
