I can't catch a freakin' break! (daycare related)
Between my divorce, moving into my parent's house and then out of my parents house and into my own place, then my landlord telling me she "may or may not be selling the house" I'm at my end! Oh no....no...not til I got the news today. My daycare lady (in home licensed provider) informed me this morning that she will be closing up shop as of September 6th!!!!!  DS has been going there for 2 years, since he was 1. I had off from work today and spent the entire afternoon searching for daycares for him. She gave me NO notice! And, I she was only $700 for the month. NO way am I going to find someone in that price range again. UGH!!!! 
Anyone know of any daycares (either in home or centers) that don't charge an arm and a leg, does learning/teaching and has space for an adorable little boy that is turning 3 next month?

First of all, I am so sorry for all that you are going through! My DD, who is almost 3 goes to Kiddie Kampus of Medford and has since 3 mos. I LOVE THEM, highly recommend! However, for their age group, full-time is around $930/month. Not sure if they have space but if you can find the $ then I'd definitely call them. You can check out their website too. I have a couple friends who use Bugaboo Montessori in Medford. Not sure of the cost, but they are pleased with it. So sorry, that stnks!

I was actually there today checking it out! They are top of my list. I'm just trying to make sure I've looked at all options before I make a decision. Glad you have a great experience with them. That helps me out a lot!

The Learning Experience is not too far from your target areas. They are not too pricey either compared to the centers I've priced out. The care is excellent and they have a great educational program!

I can NOT say enough about Kiddie Kollege on Clark Street in Patchogue behind Chuck E Cheese! I have used them for about 8 years now. My 2 oldest boys have graduated from there and my daughter started there in May when she turned 2. I toured many places in the area 8 years ago and this was by far the cleanest, nicest...They start at 24 months, so all the kids there are 2, 3 or 4. They supply diapers and wipes, snacks and drinks and its $750 for 5 full days or $550 for 3 full days. Good luck!
