So not ready for potty time here, but I heard (I think on Supernanny lol) that if they wake up from a nap w/ a dry diaper then they are ready.

really a dry diaper from nap.. I just figured when dd woke up with one, it meant i didnt give her enough to drink.. so I make sure to give her a sippy with water. 
Lately my dd has been telling me her diaper is dirty.. by pulling at the front of diaper. this morning she brought me a diaper and layed down in front of me to change her.. which is sooo odd for her.. b/c diaper changes are usually a war. I was thinking of starting but with baby #2 coming in a few weeks, figure this might be a phase and she will regress once baby is here.

I thought one of the signs was that they wake up in the morning with a dry diaper....not a nap.
No recommendations for a potty...we bought Lily one to practice on and she thinks the inside part is a hat. She's clearly not ready.

We had the same problem with G, so we just ordered the one that has steps & covers the toilet in the house.
DS thinks the potty is a toy & who could blame him....it has lights & sounds & stuff .
I knew G was ready basically when he began to attempt to remove his own wet diaper

DS is very regular, so we want to start sitting him on it when the "time to go" is near lol...we want to see how he reacts to it. I don't want anything fancy bc then thats just it...they think its a toy. I saw really cute Bjorn ones but I was going to see if anybody has it on here.
