I can bring food for DS on the plane, right?
or no. . .I wouldn't get past check in with it. (just thinking about his lunch time on the plane) Stupid question I apologize, my mind is all over the place. I'm so nervous flying with him.

yes you can. you can also bring milk or formula, water (in a sealed bottle)...

Yup! I brought homemade babyfood on the plane in a cooler bag. Just make sure to declare it when you go through security.
