I banged my baby's head on the ceiling. help!

I feel like a horrible mother. I was playing with DS and lifted him into the air and didnt notice the ceiling was low in this particular place in my apartment and I banged his headChat Icon he cried for about a min. but now hes fine. should I take him to the hospital or just watch him??

If he seems fine, he's most likely fine and I would just watch him! One time, When my DD was just 12 months (10 months adjusted) she had a fever of 104.5. I freaked out, scooped her up and went to run downstairs with her. I banged her head into the door frame :/. Not super hard but still, I felt terrible. But she was fine. She cried and was fine after 5 minute or so.

As long as he acts normal then he is fine. & don't feel bad... I was nursing DD in a bathroom stall at a catering hall a few weeks ago & the lights were on a motion sensor so all of a sudden they turned off & we were in pitch black . DD freaked, I freaked. I ran out of the stall & to the door where the sensor was with DD still sideways on my boob with the top of my dress around my waist & bc i couldnt see a thing i hit DD's head on not one, but TWO stalls on the way there! She screamed & cried & had a bump on her head but was fine. I felt so bad. Like that old saying goes- sh!t happens!!! Chat Icon

I think he's probably fine, as long as he's acting ok. We've all had those moments! Try not to beat yourself up too much!!

I am sure he is fine. I cannot tell you how many times I hit my DCs heads while walking through a door way cradle holding them and not taking into account their head went out past my elbowChat Icon
