I am very panicked right now and I need to be calmed down....

Man, I seem like some drama queen, huh? I'm really not, but I am SUPER stressed and by myself at home right, so I need some reassurance right now.

So, I have posted before that we are having problems with our landlord and how he wants to sell the house, but never told us. Well, now I just went downstairs and there are eviction papers on our door (even though April rent is paid and we never said that we wouldn't show the house) We are planning to move as of May 15th, two weeks after I am due, and BEFORE the lease is up. I just don't know what to do, HE is wrong, not us.

And I am nervous that my job isn't going to do the right thing and pay me for my sick/vacation time which I am owed (3 weeks worth)

And I just don't feel ready for this baby, I am 36 weeks and change and my shower is Saturday! But I can't set anything up because we are moving.

I just feel like I have so much on my plate and I am freaking outChat Icon

Your landlord will be hard-pressed to evict you early given a) you gave them a date that you would move; b) you already paid your rent for the coming month, and c) they have to give you 60 days notice. Your LL is an a$$ & needs to be kicked in the shinsChat Icon

I am sorry that you have added stress.....it is so unneccessary & unfair Chat Icon

OMG, please calm down. You cannot deal with your crazy landlord right now. You need to remain as calm as you possibly can. Your feelings of panic about having the baby are COMPLETELY normal, it's your hormones playing tricks. You will make a wonderful mother, please don't worry. Everything will fall into place. As far as setting anything up for the baby, the baby will be sleeping in your room at first anyway, you don't need any furniture. You don't even need a changing table as long as you have a pad with a cover. Things may be cluttered but it's only temporary and this time will fly by. Chat Icon Chat Icon i'm sorry this is happening to you. calm down! your landlord cannot evict you that quick and he/shee is a real JERK for doing this to you when you're pregnant. You've already paid your rent etc. and given notice that you'll be leaving May 15. tell them they'll need to take you tot court if they want you out sooner. As for your company not paying you - they have to = did you speak to your Man. attorney?

Everything will fall into place - deep breaths and try to just enjoy this time to yourself and the remainder of your pregnancy. you're going to be a mommy!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon vent away when you need to - that's what we're here for!

Wow!!! I'm so sorry this added stress is happening. The first thing I'd do is call my manager at work (or HR if you have it) to ensure the 3 weeks of pay is coming. As for the eviction, let it go. I know it's hard to say, but it takes a long time to evict somebody. You only have 1 month left. Even if he tried to get the law on his side, it would take longer than that. Breathe!!! Hmmmm...he needs grounds for eviction...and anything about showing the house ect needs to be written into your lease....

I used to own some properties that I rented out..and I had some really horrible tenants...as long as their rent was paid it was really difficult for me to evict them..and even when it wasnt paid I had to wait 3-4 months of non payment in order to serve them with eviction papers...

what are his grounds for eviction? you got a court date right?
