I am the stroller queen
I already have too many strollers and now that I'm expecting my second DC, I need to get my collection under control!
For my first baby, I got the snap n' go stroller, the city mini, a jogging stroller and an umbrella stroller (yes 4!!). Each has served its purpose, so I can live with having that many.
Now we were recently handed down a DOUBLE jogging stroller for when baby #2 comes and we plan to hand our single jogger over to a friend, but I still feel like I'm going to want to get one of those snap n' go, plus the seat for the older child strollers, and the city mini double for the every day stroller. Will I still want to have one single stroller hanging around as a backup in case I go out with one DC?
I realize I am out of my mind lol - someone help me get this in check!
FWIW, DS will be 21 months by the time baby #2 arrives...

Don't go crazy with strollers. Dd is 22 months and we have to bribe her with snacks to get into the stroller. All she wants to do is run free.
I'm also expecting number 2 when dd will be exactly 24 months. I have a double side by side and my full size converts to a tandem double, but I dont see myself using them except for the zoo or big outings

Re: I am the stroller queen
At 21 months she will not likely be strong enough to sustainably hold onto the stand part of a sit and stand. I would look for something that she can sit in with the baby in its carrier.

Re: I am the stroller queen
My DDs are 29 months and almost 11 months. We have an Uppa baby vista, a bob single, and the citi mini gt double. My older daughter always wants to walk so 99% of the time, I use the single stroller. The only time I use the double is for walks and since I actually really dislike the citi double, if someone else is with me, we take two separate strollers.

My dd is 22 months and she can hold onto to stand part.
This joovy one does both, it converts.

Re: I am the stroller queen
my DD was almost 3 when DS was born but I just stuck with my single snap and go got a double britax (which I rarely use) and still have my single city mini.
If I was you I would think I would still keep my single snap and go, and single city mini for time when older DS wont be with you or you don't need a stroller for him, and get a double stroller and just get the car seat adaptor for it.
ETA: I also got the glider board for the city mini single which again I rarely use but I wanted in case I only take the single and DD wants to not walk she can hop on it

I was going to suggest Bugaboo Donkey, but the Joovey is more affordable. I have a side by side double and a single. I use the single more than I thought I would.

Re: I am the stroller queen
I agree with the wait & see approach. We got exactly 1 year use out of the double stroller. My kids are 18 months apart. There was one summer where we used it a lot. After my little one started walking, both wanted nothing to do with a double & it was easier for me not to lug something additional around.

I have 2 kids (15 months apart) and we have/had: snap and go is a must imo...it makes it much easier to get the baby in and out of the car...plus you can use that if your older one is willing to walk to/from the car if you are doing things like dr appts. single city mini - we still use bc there are times dh and i take the kids out separately city mini double - LOVE this stroller...use it daily bc we walk my eldest to/from daycare I plan on buying an umbrella stroller so that both kids can have strollers if we do things separately I am also looking into getting one of those buggy board attachments to attach to the single bc dd (at 26 months) sometimes wants to walk, but after a few steps decides she wants to be in th stroller)
so basically, i have 4 also so i am no help I would try to use either/or the double jogging or the double city mini. i dont think you need both
ETA - i also have a double mclaren umbrella stroller in my attic that was a hand-me-down that i havent even used yet

Re: I am the stroller queen
I have a city select which can be single or double as needed. Snap and go and umbrella. I got the car seat adapter for city select and bassinet so I have options for use. Works for us

Re: I am the stroller queen
My kids are 3 years a part and dd still goes in the stroller. I have the Uppa baby vista with the standing board which dd loved using. The single citi mini which mil uses with Dd when they go out. A Bob single and we just got the city mini double. We also have the car seat adapter for the Bob and the vista which made both act like a snap and go.
I'd keep a single stroller bc there are times you'll be out with one and not both. Maybe get a standing board. It took me a year to get the city mini double and I love it.
Strollers are fun and if you buy the right ones you can adapt them to your needs.

Lol we were there also. I saw so many people wearing their babies and was jealous how free they were.
I say get a a sit and stand. I have one the infant seat goes on the back for now and the older child sits in the front, eventually the younger can sit in the front and the older can sit or stand in the back part
