i am soooooooooo done....
I am sitting here in tears right now, bc of this damn gd, i can not eat anything i want my number is still not right for after breakfast and all i had was one waffle, i am starving and it sucks really bad, dh can't do anything for me, bc of the number i am so done, i want this all to be over and i can be back to my self eating and dong anything i want...... sorry for venting but i can not take it much longer sometimes i think it is a mistake that i am preggo, i know how can i say that but everything that can go wrong with me has, and all those crackheads can have fine babies but me who has never done anything wrong, no drugs no drinking before age 21 and everything gets the worst handed to me.....
sorry but i have to let it out somewhere other then on DH.........

 hang in there, when a pregnancy is rough, its hard to be feeling like pregnancy is the most amzing thing in the world. I remember my SIL was on bedrest with both kids and she kept telling me she honestly did not like being pregnant and i was thinking how can she say that, Now that i am preggos and at 6 months still having morning sickness, i know better then to judge others b/c there are lots of days where i feel like i wish the baby would just come already so i can stop throwing up or feeling nausous, and then i feel guilty b/c i really am hapy to be blessed with this pregnancy and all i want is for my child to be healthy, i think our hormones are alos up and down alot so that contributes to your feeling too

All I want to do is to be able to eat something.
The highlight of my MONTH is eating a meal that stays down and doesnt cause pain.
Its almost over and will be worth it.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this....I'm still in my first trimester and I cry sometimes wondering how I can get through this throwing up and nausea and I have a long way to go. Just think, you are so close and doing so well!! This is just a bad morning, it will pass.

Awww - I remember feeling this way when I was going through all my horrible m/s, and I had an entire pregnancy to go....
You are doing a great job being pregnant - and taking wonderful care of Madison in your body... Remember how worried we all were when she had those cysts? And they went away... You will get through this too and you will give birth to a healthy, beautiful little miraculous daughter, and this will all be a blur... somethign you can tell your pregnant friends when they cry to you about what they are going thru....
Pregnancy is a whirlwind of emotional and physical ups and downs... right now this is just a small down... talk to your dr. about what you may be able to eat - can you stick with low GI food? There are websites devoted to diabetics with low GI food and recipes... talk to your dr - maybe you can find something yummy that you can eat....
Hang in there!!! You will get thru this - you are almost done!!!

Let's look at this from a different angle..
I know about being done..I am still sick and cant breathe and I be-yotch about it. but...they are good weights..so take the good and the bad...
now...yes..your #'s suck---but**u are almost done..u haven't had to do this from the beginning and Dr. mastro did give u some flexibility with it.
If he isn't flipping then u do not flip--thats his job...
2nd..u got the best handed to u...
remember...those cysts went away!!!!!!!!

I was never so happy to be in there 5 hours so i can be the first person to know Madison was ok and they were gone!
I felt like i hit lotto that day hearing it!
remember how good u felt! I can't even imagine!
its going to be ok...its almost done...
I know u are hungry and want to eat--that sucks when that happens..
eat a egg--skip the waffle today--and tt Mastro this week...trust me it will be over soon...

I know it seems like you still have a way to go, but hang in there, the pregnancy wont last forever, soon enough you will have a wonderful little baby and it will all have been worth it. Vent all you need to, that is what we are here for....and we wont all feel so guilty if other people vent and complain too!

Oh you poor thing I felt the same way this morning. The stupid nutritionists tell me to "experiment" so I listen to them and had oatmeal this morning - afterwards, my blood sugar was through the roof! And I didn't even eat as much as I wanted of it, I would have liked to have another cup! Why can't I eat oatmeal and cereal the things I really love? It's not fair. They tell you, "eat turkey for breakfast" well, sorry, but to me that sounds disgusting! Everybody has their own things that they like to eat and don't and I just don't care for the proteins, eggs or chicken much, especially for breakfast. Plus, it's so much more expensive now to make sure that the house is stocked with food that I can eat, the proteins go bad much more quickly than dry foods so it's costing me an arm and a leg to eat stuff that I don't even like! Yesterday I was in the mall and walked by Haagen Dazs and saw somebody eating an ice-cream cone, I almost started crying. Aftificial sweetners don't agree with me so it's not like I can even have the low-sugar ice-cream. I have been feeling very sorry for myself and alone, sitting across from my dh eating a bowl full of gnocchi, knowing if I ate that, I would probably go into diabetic shock. But we have to believe that things will get better. I just wanted you to know you are not alone and I understand how you feel

When I had GD I couldn't have a waffle for breakfast. I had eggs or cottage cheese on a multi grain lite english muffin.
I felt the same way as you do!

Hang in there I know things might seem rough right now. You are at the end of the road and Madison is healthy and doing just fine. Sometimes things in pregnancy can suck but remember the bigger picture!

thanks girls!! i am just sooooooo sick of eating the same thing every day i want food real food!! but today is my weekly appt. and they are going to put me on the insulin at night, i might just ask to do it all the time.....we will see.... but thanks for everything!!

I felt the same way as you do!
My friend had GD and her sugar was a lot better with no carbs for breakfast. Also make sure you're eating whole grains instead of whote bread, rice, etc. Try that for a few days and see what happens. You can buy canadian bacon whihc is low in fat and have that with eggs. Good luck!
