I am sooooo close..... Need all of your help

Hello ladies.....

I have 7 days and 11 hours and I am so anxious....

Some other times I forget that I am pregnant and I keep procrastinating....


Please can we put together a reminder list....

A check list...

I feel like I have so much to do but .... I dont know what...?


Please help....

Any advice would be great..

Maybe post on the parenting board as there are more of us here not in your situation yet than are. I'm close but not that close and haven't the slightes idea what I should be doing now! Let alone with 7 days left! Good luck!

pack your hospital bag
shampoo
conditioner
a colorful big towel to shower with
toothbrush and toothpaste, floss, mouthwash
music
camera
disposable slippers (my hospital gives grippy socks so I did not need them)
loose fitting clothing for you to change into to go home
bra and panties
socks
back massagers for use during labor
going home outfit for baby
any medicines you need

Telephone contact list of all the people to call to say you are in labor

Health insurance cards and make sure after the baby is born to call your health insurance to add the baby to the policy.

make sure nursery is ready - either crib, mattress delivered and set up or contact number of store to have set up when you are in hospital

for jewish boy mommies - contact info for mohel

what is everyone with pets doing... are you boarding them?

I don't have any pets but I think it would be wise to make arrangments for them to be cared for. I mean what happens if you have to have an emergency c/s and are in the hospital for 4 days instead of 2.

I had my laptop for DS and was able to use it in my room.

I still have 4 months but I plan on having my cousin stop by to take care of my dogs, and we're only 10mins from the hospital, so my DH can go back if need be, or after the birth, to take care of them....plus I want DH to give the dogs the receiving blanket to smell

I would wait on the laptop until you're at least settled in a room.

Don't worry. I walked out of my house with a pair of sweats in my hand, fully expecting to breeze by the hospital to be evaluated & when I showed up I was 5 cm dialated & admitted.

I'd say a hospital bag definitely makes things easier.
