My Mom lost her pocket book at Kmart an hour ago and she had $1,000 in it ........but the worst part is she had the ONLY PICTURE of my father who is DEAD in it

she thinks that some woman who was behind her might have taken it ......but she packed her stuff into the car and she thinks she left her purse in the wagon
I called her cell phone and it rang and rang and then I called it again and it went right to voicemail so someone shut her phone off

Aw, how horrible! It's amazing how much of your life is put into a purse. I had my wallet stolen once and it was so horrible having to replace everything. Of course, I had pictures in it as well and those are irreplaceable.

Sorry to hear about this, thats awful!
I am sure u will continue to call Kmart.
Can u keep calling the cell phone? Is there anyway that the cell company can locate where the phone calls are being made? What a horrible thing for someone to take during the holiday season. I hope her pocketbook and pics are returned immediately.

my dad had the cell phone turned off already
and I just ordered her a new license and registration for the car (it was in her wallet) she is willing to give a $500 reward to get her pocketbook back

Chances are they'd dump the pocketbook nearby and just take the cash. They wouldn't want to be caught with that. I would call & check with the maintenance staff too.
That's horrible...I hope they find it.

That stinks! I hope she gets it back!
I left my wallet in the seat of the cart once at a huge supermarekt, which was in a strip mall setting, so there were lots of stores. I had everything in it and I didn't realize I didn't have it until I got home. By the time I drove back to the store, by the grace of God someone had turned it in and I got everything back!
Here's hoping for the same for your mom!
