I am so upset!
Tomorrow is my last day of work. I am a special ed teacher, work in early intervention, travel to kids schools to work with them. Well, my boss hired a girl, she came to meet my kids, told my boss she would take the cases, this was a month ago. She just called me about ten minutes ago to tell me she doesn't think she is going to be able to work for the company, her grandmother got sick and she is going to go see her for two to three weeks so she can't work for the company at all. She calle ME..not my boss to tell her this..ME! I am so pizzed off. My boss is a wonderful lady and I don't like her being screwed and this chick was just SOOOOO unprofessional. I feel so bad, but there is nothing I can do, DH will kill me if I stay a few more days, he wants me home relaxing, plus I can't take the 1 1/2 hour commute anymore and my belly is starting to hit the wheel and I can't move the seat back anymore.
So now I have to go in on my last day tomorrow and tell these parents that there will be no one there on Monday to work with their kids. I feel awful!!
I hate unprofessional people!!! Ok, vent over...sorry had to get it out!!

Unfortunately no, my disability papers are already filled out at the doctors office, he wants me out too.
I am just so mad that this girl waited til Thursday night before she is supposed to take over on Monday, she has had a month. And to give me a bogus story too....I know she was lying.

I'm sure they will figure something out though. It's not your fault and you do need your rest. Hopefully there will be someone to fill the spot ASAP. Take it easy
