I am SO GRATEFUL! Does it irk you when others aren't?
I never post negative bitchy stuff...BUT some of the posts on the pregnancy board really irk me. I guess its because I had losses prior to my current pregnancy combined with the fact that this pregnancy has been challenging at times (low progesterone, placenta previa, severe nausea that required zofran, lovenox, intralipids, cord issues...you get the picture ) I'm no angel, but I really haven't complained through any of it because I AM SO GRATEFUL. All you have to do is spend five minutes on the IF board to see how blessed you are to be pregnant and god willing bring a baby home! It just bugs me to no end when other ladies seem to take the blessing of a healthy pregnancy for granted!  Okay, vent over. So glad we have this board now.

JMO, but i dont think its fair to assume that just because someone hasnt gone through IF to have a baby doesnt mean they arent grateful... i assume youre talking about staryeyes post... shes been through a lot in the last month or so... im pretty sure shes grateful for everything...

If the OP is in reference to staryeyes post, I have to say that I agree with Ang. I am team green, and would be just as upset as she is if the gender was accidentally revealed, and that's after 4 m/cs and IVF for this pregnancy. It doesn't mean that she's not grateful to have a healthy baby.
However, I do agree that I get upset when I see others taking pregnancy for granted. I had a parent who I worked with tell me that she had an abortion because she and her husband were having problems. It was exactly one year to the day after my first m/c, and it took every ounce of willpower to stay professional.
