I agree with Kerry! Your lawyer should be on top of this for you (it's what you're paying him/her to do for you). They should show you what to watch out for before you sign them.

Our lawyer went thru each section of the contract with us, so we understood the language and meaning.
If your lawyer does this, you'll be in wonderful hands wih no secrets/things to worry about.

Congratulations!!!
I agree with the others, let your lawyer review the contract with you. Of course you want to make sure you agree with the basics--closing date, financing, price, but beyond that your lawyer should be able to explain terms and conditions to you.
