I AM SHAKING MAD!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG I am soooo pizzed right now!!!!! And I am not the only one!!! My DH left today for a school for work (he is in the Army) and his boss put him in for the Active Army school which is eight weeks instead of An Active National Guard Slot which is 4 weeks. My DH could miss the birth of our DS because of this "mistake" when DH called his boss and was like WT Fudge?? He said "Well I thought you could use a break from the family for a little while" I am sooooo ready to go psycho mafia on this man right now. (Thanks for letting me vent)

I am so sorry you are dealing with this right now sweetie. They need to get this figured out for you & DH ASAP!!!!!! Also what his boss said is just unacceptable. I would use that for leverage if need be to get the switch made! What an a-hole!!!! Who says that!!!!! Keep us posted. 
That they get this all figured out for you soon!!!
eta: I just saw this can't be switched.
I am so sorry. Hopefully this baby will stay put until daddy comes home.  I feel so awful for you right now. That is just not right. What about FLMA? If for some reason you go into labor while DH is there can he take FLMA leave? He could put it in now but it would become effective on the day  arrives. Defin look into that. Also is there an employee assistance office you can contact? Or something of the sort for military families?

Military doesn't really apply with FMLA!!!! If I go into labor I have to have my OB call the red cross, to send a message, also the message has to say that either baby or I are in a life threatening position, ie a c-section is considered life threatening. A baby considered term (37 weeks) being delivered Vaginally is not considered for an excused absence!!! I learned all of this when DH was in Afghanistan and one of the other wives was delivering her baby. They wouldn't let him leave, because the baby was 37 weeks, and she delivered vaginally. He finally saw his son three weeks later.

I am so sorry for their crappy policies. It is awful that these men/woman are serving our country (which to me is one of the most admirable things a person can do), and they & their family get crapped on. You just need to rest as much as you can while he is away, drink as much water keep hydrated, and anything else you can think of to keep that little boy inside.

The little boy has no choice he is staying in. I don't care how much it hurts. Yes it sucks but I should've known better!!! I mean it's not our first time at the rodeo. Last time he was deploying and they kept calling him every 5-10 minutes to see if I was "progressing"!!! I was literally pushing my son out and his phone was going off.
