I am I feeling something or is it really nothing

I am 38 weeks today...

I seriously feel like I have my period - the cramps are annoying and constant and every so often I get a pain in my back - on the right - that feels like gas but goes away on it's own.

Haven't lost my mucus plug yet so I am thinking that while this is uncomfortable it's still really nothing.

Any opinions?

I have no clue Ang but just wanted to say that I cant believe you are almost there!!!! maybe the little guy is ready to come out and prove that he really is a boy

Sounds like your body is getting ready. It could be days, or weeks. I was feeling like this for almost 3 weeks before I went into actual labor.

I was getting these a few weeks ago. They woke me up in the middle of the night. They felt like very strong cramps. I went to the dr, and I was only 1 cm. And have stayed that way since.


But remember, it is different for everyone. Even though these didnt mean actual labor for me, who knows what they mean for you. Just pay attention to any contractions that you get!

It could be the start of something. LOOks liek your body is getting ready. I read that your body starts to feel this way at the end of the 3rd trimester. But keep an eye on it and if they become worse then go do the Doctor.

Ang, that is how it was for me,.....early labor and got worse as the day progressed, I didnt loose my MP till 10hrs later, then water broke.

Could be chica!

Would be great if this really is the start. I am so anxious to meet him and we are just about ready for him. I seriously have to pack my bag tonight after the baby care class.

It sounds like u are having contreations that is what i was having.

Pack that bag!!

I felt AF crampy the week before I went into labor, then all of sudden they started taking my breath away and stopped me in my tracks. That's how i felt early labor

ETA: I never lost my plug before labor. I lost a piece of it at 3-4cm's dialated in full labor at the hospital.

Seriously - I am not going to bed tonight until that bag is packed. I have no idea why I have been dragging my feet with it.
