I am going to KILL DH....Update
Background: DH and our old roommate have always gone to a local bar for "Forties and Flapjacks" on St.Patty's Day morning. It's a 7 year tradition that I've never been able to partake in because I've always had to work or be in class- but I'd always meet up with them for the night party.....
This year, the bar wasn't opening til noon since it's a Saturday- they've been there since about 1. I am obviously left out of the festivities since being almost 7 mos preggos and surrounded by drunks and smoke while being sober is not my idea of fun. I DID give him the OK to go (who am I to mess with "tradition") though.
I haven't heard from him all day. My old roommate JUST called- she and her FH can't FIND MY DH!!!!! She told him they wanted to go, he said he had to go to the bathroom and he'd meet them at the door,they waited by the door for awhile, then they went OUTSIDE (thinking he might be out there). NOW they can't go in looking for him (1 hour wait outside) and the A-HOLE is not answering his phone.
I'm sure he's fine- but I know how wasted he gets on St.Patty's Day and it's pissing me off that his pregnant wife is home alone and he doesn't have his friggin' phone on vibrate. I'm also annoyed that my old roomie went outside before walking around to find him.
UGH- he is NOT doing this next year- his shamrock's getting CLIPPED

awww i'm so sorry. That sounds like something my DH would do. I'm sure he's fine. IT's probably so loud where he is too so he either doesn't hear his phone or can't feel the vibration because I know I've missed a call that way.

Why do DH's NOT realize that the need to check in with us more often now that we are pregnant???
Two nights ago he told me he was leaving work at 8:00 only to not show up until 11:00 (we live 10 minutes away).
I called him for 2 hours straight and NOTHING!!
His cell phone wasn't on and he "lost track of time".
I'm sorry you are dealing with another case of DH call-amnesia.

I had the same thing the other night. He went to his brothers hockey game...said Iwill be home at 12:00....1:30 am rolls around, hes not answering his phone, or texts and Im flipping out, unable to breathe from fear...and he was in a diner.....finally calls me at like 2:15 am
So I hear ya sweetie..(the O/P)
I hope you find him.
Your calmer then I would be for sure

They found him and brought him home. He's now puking. The jerk hasn't had anything to eat but Irish Car Bombs since 1:30.....
I can't help but shake my head- thankfully, he only does this once a year (gets this drunk). But WHY can't he have some control over himself- why drink yourself into a stupor.

me too!!! men are ridiculous sometimes! mine usually marches in the parade and meets up with friends from college etc... we've gone together for the past 4 years. this was our first staying home. He didn't ask if he could go w/o me (and i didn't offer) since he's doing a boys hockey tailgating drinking thing next week. I don't mind that he does the guys thing every once in awhile but it does bug me on Saturdays because he works alot of weekend nights and that's our date night! sorry to hijack - now i'm rambling

It's a pint of Guiness with a shot of Jamesisons and you have to chug it. 
Poor you! My DH was pretty good. He marched in the parade and then went out with his friends and got home around 7pm so I could have some corned beef and cabbage with him.
Next year we ALL have to go out and make the DH's watch the babies

This is why DH gets about 50 calls in an hour. Men. It's always "oh, it wasn't on vibrate" or "I didn't take it in with me..."
haha...this year DH was/is sick so he didn't go out, but he originally had clearance to go. It's probably best he didn't...he would've wasted $$ getting drunk, throw it all up and then whine all day today about being hungover.
Sorry he was not on his A game last night!

Thanks again ladies- it was a pretty scary night after I signed off.
He was laying on the couch on his back and he started to vomit- but he didn't react- no gagging, no turning his head- NOTHING. I started screaming and trying to pull him on his side and he wouldn't budge. He was total dead weight and wasn't responding at ALL. Just as I was about to call 911, he FINALLY, (between me screaming and shaking him and the dog barking in his face) shifted and started puking in the garbage can I had next to him.
I sat on the loveseat for the rest of the night listening to him breathe and making sure he stayed on his side. It was awful.
He woke up this morning like, "hey, why are we downstairs- do we have any iced tea?" I wanted to kick him in the head......
After I told him, he's totally horrified and swears the tradition of St. Patrick's is over (his idea). He also said he will kiss my *** for the rest of the day and right now is doing the second of load of laundry as I write this.......

omg guys are so dumb!! they always have to get SOOOOOOO wasted. My DH did this to me not so long ago (minus the puking, but he was completely out of it and not responding)...it was so scary and he hasn't done it again since. I'm glad your DH is ok!!
