I am going to have a nervous breakdown
My heart is pounding, I have chest pain....I am waiting to hear about this job and it is killing me! I cannot stay here much longer it is making me sick!!!

don't get so caught up in it.
I remember being in a job that I hated. I worked for this loser witch who was absolutely HORRIBLE to me. I could tell you stories for weeks.
I just kept reminding myself that it wasn't permanent. It was not my life. I would not be there much longer, etc...
Now, it's just a distant memory. Thank God I didn't make myself sick over it! It wouldn't have been worth it!

Being in a work environment that is making you miserable is the worst. I was in that situation a few years ago. I also though i was on the verge of a major breakdown because of it. just try to take it day by day and try to keep in mind that eventually something better will come along. It ended up taking me 8 very very very long months to find another job, but I finally did, and now I couldnt be happier with the people i work with. Just try to take it one day at a time and remember that it will get better. Good luck on the job search!!!

I totally hear what you are saying but since Day one - and that was 12/5/05...I knew it was a mistake. And every day since then has been awful. And I can't seem to get anything else....plus a lot of other things in my life are just not working either....so it's like...if I could just have this ONE aspect of my life work...just ONE good thing happen for ONE time.....it would make a world of difference, you know?
eta: I left a VM to follow up this afternoon. Hopefully I will hear by mid-week.

Ahhh just got a VM on my phone and it was a recruiter for a position I am not interested in....
