I am going to be sappy for a moment, but..

..I am so moved by the generosity shown today when I posted about a care package for my brother and his fellow marines in Iraq.

I have received literally 30 FM's asking how people can help and what they can send.

There is still a lot of good left in this world, even when you feel low and not really sure about the way the world is going, this hits home for me just how good people can be.

These tokens of kindness will be so appreciated by those on the receiving end...I can't wait for the call I get when they get these goodies in the mail!!!!

For anyone else wanting to help out-I think my brother and his team are going to be getting enough stuff, but consider looking into sending a package to another unit that needs it...all these guys could benefit from a care package, it really keeps their spirits up!!!!!

i bought a few things into my mommy and me class, as they are sending things as well.

i can't imagine that some soldiers don't have any family that care about them or no family at all. so sad.

it is the least we can do for all they do for us and our safety...no matter how I personally feel about the war, I truly admire and respect your brother and all of the other troops

may they all come home safe
