I am going to be a volunteer EMT
...again!
I did it for 5 years and resigned when I got married becuase we were moving to Queens. But now we are back so I filled out the application to become a member again! I am excited!

It depends on the department. In mine its one a week to meet the minimum - some departments have a diferent kind of membership where you don't have a regular shift, you just come in when you can.

thank you for volunteering! We need people like you!!! (I would want to but i am way squeemish but i love helping people hence why I am a teacher...less squimish...well sometimes kids are nuts

In the original place. So I will have to drive a little bit but thats ok. And DH is happy I will be gone one night a week so he can have uninterrupted Xbox time.
