I am behind, I know - I have to start thinking about registering
for some reason, this just doesn't excitement, I know it should, but it doesn't.
We live out East, Manorville area.
Isn't Babies-R-Us in Nassau?
I am thinking of registering at Target, there is a Target everywhere.
Can I get the same stuff I need for the baby at Target? Are should I register at Babies-R-Us because there is more stuff and better stuff?
Also, does someone have a list of what to get? I have no clue, no idea where to start and kinda overwhelmed.

You should be able to get everything you need at Target. I have a few friends that registered there.

BRU gives you a list of things that you will/may need. Im sure Target will have same, since it is a place to register. Once you start doing you will get excitted, it really is fun. I hated registering for wedding, so wasnt excitted about baby registering, until i started. DH and I had the best time.

I've heard the return policy at Target is lacking but I don't know much about it. If you do a search on here, though, you might find some posts.
I just plugged in my brother's suffolk zip code and there's a BRU in Commack and one in Bohemia. I know zero about Suffolk so I don't know if those are reasonable locations but figured I'd put that out there to you.

The Sayville (Bohemia/Patchogue/ Holbrook) store is right on Sunrise- I would honestly go there. Target has a small baby section, and their return policy is terrible.
ETA- I used ot live in Manorville. and also you can do most of your registering on line.

Re: I am behind, I know - I have to start thinking about registering
U can do the whole thing online if you know what to get.... Then go in, and check on your items by touch and visually to make sure that you like (I did this, and it was way easier than doing the whole thing at the store)....
I was able to read all the mom's reviews, and registered that way with of course abiding by safety ratings first and foremost. I think that the mom reviews are the best thing in the world to read - no one knows better than the mommies that are using the product!
Also, even if you don't finish everything online, you can ALWAYS finish up when you go to the store. When I did my registry, I did what I needed online, and then when I went into the store, I got one of the scanners, and finished up with the smaller things...
Good luck, and have FUN!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome, I will be registering there! There is also one in Commack.
I am not looking foward to registering either. When the time comes I am bringing my sister (who has 2 babies) and she can pick everything out for me!
