i almost forgot to tell you...guess who lost two teeth???

after cracking a tooth when i was pg and then having it get infected and blow up the right side of my face...i called the dentist as soon as my tooth hurt me on thurs...i explained that i have samantha and would nned a night appt...and you know what? they told me to bring her!

so i did - making sure she was well fed, changed and happy (and secretly praying she'd be good).....

they were awesome when i arrived and so excited to see her!

and then he took x-rays while she hung out w/ the receptionist....and then brought her back in.....so it was determined i had cracked another tooth (um, again??? pregnancy ruined my teeth since all i ever had be4 it was a few cavities!) so it would need to come out..but since it was next to my nicely crooked wisdom tooth that would need to go too

and so it began...the hr long process since first my reg tooth cracked during the extraction (all i can say is owwww when your tooth comes out in pieces! ) and then as i quote "wow, those are some curvy roots on your wisdom tooth"....

meanwhile Samantha who had ettled down for a nap woke up crying and the receptionist (bless you Antoinete!) was strolling her around the office....

i have to say they were more than wonderful.....and for any mom (or anyone) who lives in the pt jeff area i recommend them 300%! i mean, where else will they not think twice about caring for your child???? I meanwhile kept apologizing for her having to be there - and then for her crying and/or bothering his staff or other patientsr - and my dentist himself told me to stop that he has his 2 kids at home and it didn't bother him one bit!

all in all i feel good today...a little sore but thats all - they gave me tylenol w/ codeine (sp?) - which was a story in itself to double check if its safe for breastfeeding (which fyi - it is, although taking two pills at a time can pass through the breastmilk causing sleepiness!) but u didn't even need it...

why can it seem that things are never simple???

to your dentist! My dentist is the same way - very accomodating.
