Re: hypospadia....any experience?
I have lots of experience, my son just had surgery with Dr. Palmer 3 weeks ago. My son had hypospadias, chordee, and he has a horseshoe kidney(both kidneys connected). Feel free to ask me any specific questions.

Would you mind telling me about the process, the surgery and recovery? I think I will be a lot more prepared hearing from people who went thru it 1st hand rather than just what the Dr will tell me.

Definitely! I will send you a longer response soon when I can get to a computer instead of my phone.

Re: hypospadia....any experience?
DS was born with hypospadius. His case was not very severe, according to the Dr. He had corrective outpatient surgery (stony brook) under anestesia at 6 months old, they also circumsized him during the procedure. At his follow up appointment, something wasn't correct with the healing and the Dr used a topical ointment to numb the (tip)area and used a surgical scissor to fix the issue. Healing was fast and without complications (from what i remember). DS is almost 8 and you would never notice that there was ever an issue.
Good luck!
