Hydrangeas
We are moving OOS and selling our house. We have 2 hydrangeas outside with sentimental value. One, my DS1 gave to DH for his 1st father's day (a blue one) and another, DS1 gave me for mother's day (pink).
Is there a way to cut part of the hydrangea and then re-plant it and have it actually grow in our new home? We're moving to NE Florida and I believe they have hydrangeas there (gets cool in the "winter".)
I really don't want to leave them behind

Hydrangeas
Check the laws about transplanting to certain states. Be cause of insects and diseases in certain plants you can't always bring plants across state lines.

ask to put it in your contract. We did when we sold our house. We asked for 2 trees. One which was our wedding tree, the other was for when my mom passed away. The buyers had no problem.

Just be aware that the hydrangeas may not stay those colors depending on what soil you transplant them to.

I would never have thought of this (I only would have considered the climate). This is a good tip!
