Hurty hips?
I've always had slight hip issues - a bit of clicking in the right side and if I drove for long periods of time it'd be really painful. I'm only 8 weeks along, but I did about 30 minutes on the elliptical the other day and as I was walking home from the gym, I felt a lot of pulling and popping on the outside my right hip. The past couple of days my groin area has been sore.
I guess I just pulled something, but I hadn't really done anything strenuous or out of the ordinary. I know hip pain does bother some women later in pregnancy, but does anyone know of anyone who has experienced it this early?

Re: Hurty hips?
I did around the same time as you. It has actually gotten better and now my back is what is killing me.

Re: Hurty hips?
I don't know about pullling and popping, but sometimes I get a few days where my hip really hurts and it locks up if I go on the stairs. OB says it's from the ligaments relaxing.

Re: Hurty hips?
i read that when you are PG your body releases a chemical called relaxin which is supposed to loosen your joints to make labor easier - making it a LOT easier for us to injure ourselves if we aren't careful. if doing the elliptical makes your hip hurt more, try using a stationary bike or the treadmill. sorry you are hurting - i have had the same problem with my right hip since middle school
