hunter rainboots - worth the hype?
I work in NYC and see them all the time when it rains, but they are pretty $$$. Are they worth the hype? If so, where's the best place to buy them?

I love my Hunter rainboots!! I also got the fleece lining and i wear them in the snow. I got mine at Nordstroms, but Ive also seen them at Bloomingdales

How do the sizes run? Ive read that they run big and to order a size down, but that the top of the boot is VERY narrow

I went to the store to try them on. I'm a 7.5-8 regularly. I wear a 6 in UGGs and the 7 in Hunters (tall) fit me best. I normally spend $25 on rainboots though so I'm not sure if I'm ready to take the plunge...

I was also contemplating buying them but I heard that they are sometimes slippery in the snow. Is this true?

J Crew usually comes out with pairs that are in the $60 - $75 range. I like mine but they get sweaty inside so I dont wear them much....

I thought I read on here recently someone posted they purchased them in a kids size and it fit perfectly and was considerably less money

i love mine....but this is true
and i also think the Burberry ones are cuter
I have the Burberry ones and they are so comfy. Also they are more fitted than the Hunter rainboots when I tried them both on.
