hungry puppy

I have a pug that is 7lbs. The Innova food I have him on says to give him 1 cup a day. I give him a 1/2 in the morning and a 1/2 when I get home from work. But he always acts like he's starving to death. I'm also thinking that depending on how hungry he is effects if he decides to have a poopy pie or not.

Any suggestions?

That sounds about right when I fed my dog when she was a puppy. She looked like she was still hungry too so our vet told us 1/2 dry and also give her alittle wet too. If you still think that he is still hungry I would ask the vet if you should add anything or give more. But 1/2 sound normal.

Some dogs always act like they're starving and gobble up whatever's put in front of them no matter how much they've already been fed, but for others, it could be a sign that they need more, especially while they're growing puppies. I agree to ask the vet for advice.
