Humidifier question

Are you absolutely not supposed to close your DC’s door when running the humidifier?

Re: Humidifier question

I always close DD's door. I feel like if I didn't all the moisture would escape into the rest of the house and defeat the purpose of breaking up her congestion. I don't know if you're not supposed to though.

Re: Humidifier question

I think it depends on the humidifier. I remember someone posting once (it may have been btrflygrl Chat Icon ) about reading somewhere that you aren't supposed to (not sure why - maybe it will allow too much moisture in the room?) But we bought new ones this year and the directions said it was ok. It's the sonic kind though so maybe that's different.

Yeah, I vaguely remember something a long time ago. I could have sworn it was Shana who said it, but I have bad Mommy brain, so who knows?? Chat Icon
