I was told to register for the Vicks starry night humidifier. Friends love it.

Re: Humidifier

We love pure guardian. We have 2 of the larger models, I think the 72 hour and 120 hour. Before that we had Vicks and crane models and they did not work nearly as well.

My sister used this for my niece and this is what he registered for. It got great reviews.

Re: Humidifier

We have a Crane (the frog) and it works for my DD's room. Her room is small though. It isn't the easiest to clean, but they are all pretty similar in that respect. We have a Air-o-swiss for our room and it is great-- it is ultrasonic so you don't need as much maintenance.

Re: Humidifier

We had an Air-o-Swiss and it worked really well. I think it was around $170 at Bed Bath and Beyond. There is another similar one by Venta also at BBB, slightly cheaper.

We have a Crane and I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks everyone. People have been telling me to wait to register for it because I may not need it. Are you all registering for one?

I have this one too. I got another one that had a filter and I always forgot to change it and get new ones. Filterless is the only way to go!!!!

I would wait. I had it on my registry and it's now sat in DD's closet for 2 yrs. she's been sick plenty of times, and haven't used it once.
It's something you can always run out and buy if need be.

Definitely...we didn't register for it. We just got it because DD was a winter baby and her room was very dry. Now that she is 2, we never use it.
