hud loans
What ia the process like? Which banks handle them? We are considering a203 loan, which is through HUD

it's a FHA loan
but they are way more involved- the only bank I really trust with a 203K loan is contential home loans- FM me if you want the name of a great loan officer to contact there
my Dad used wells fargo since he is in FL and it was a nightmare- CHL is very hands on with the process and that is the only way to get it down

U.S. Mortgage Corporation also handles 203(k) loans. It's a specialty mortgage bank - - like CHL -- and they consistently do a great job (in terms of speed, efficiency, customer service). My contact, Steve Simpson, is very knowledgeable and experienced with these loans.
