hsg tomorrow- update
i am nervous! i know it can be painful or not so painful...but i am nervous.
if anyone has had one.... i know they flush you with dye....where does the dye go? do they suck it back out?
eeeeks!!!!!!!!!!
update....
well good news is tubes and uterus are fine!!! bad news is ..i cried....eeks! when they inserted the tube...i was in so much pain i cried out and teas ran....
after about a minute it was just cramps and uncomfortable....but wooohoo mama that minute of pain was intense...guess i am a big baby lol

Hate to be gross, but it just kind of leaks back out. They'll give u a pad to wear afterwards. Kind of  but at least it's something u only have to do 1x. Def take Motrin beforehand!

I have not had an hsg yet but I just wanted to wish you lots of luck. I've read that some of the dye comes out so you have to wear a pad

Good Luck the previous girls the anticipation is worse than the real thing it's uncomfortable but quick.. Take advil or motrin before.. it does leak out. I was fine to drive home after and only cramped while it was happening.

Yes, I agree with all of the pp's....it was uncomfortable, but not bad. You'll be fine...for me, it made all the difference because of found out about polyps that were causing me a lot of issues. So, just try to think about how it may make a difference for you.

This is probably too late... good luck.
The leaking of dye is nothing.
I cramped really badly for an hour afterwards (Not fun), but the procedure itself was nothing.
