HSG question
I am scheduled to go for an HSG on Friday. Anyone know how much it is going to cost? It is subject to my deductible which is $500. If it was in the office I would have a copay but since its at zwanger I get to pay more
Just wondering what I am in for. Oh and I have my last cycle of Clomid then on to injectables. I didn't know I needed a class first. That's why I can't start yet. You would think that would have come up last month

HSG question
not sure abt $$ for HSG. It was covered for me so had to pay only $25 co-pay. But for the class. yep need a class. for IVF its almost a 4 hr class that in the end u sign a bunch of forms. I guess ur class wont be as long as the nurse who was doing ours just spent ~30mins going over on how to inject each of the meds. did they tell u what will be covered in this class?

Re: HSG question
I am glad you are moving onto injectable, and honeslty i am a HUGE baby and i was able to give myself the shots daily.
There is a video on Fertilityfreedom that has demnstrations etc
I did my HSG at LIJ radiation area and we were subject to our hospital co payment, but many places handle it diffently
Good Luck

Re: HSG question
I think you would.only have to pay if its out of network. Do you have an IN network deductible?

HSG question
I had to pay $200 because mine was at Melville Surgery center and they use hospital coverage instead of regular medical coverage at a place like that. When I had my MRI at Zwanger I only paid a co-pay so maybe you will luck out.

Re: HSG question
Ugh well I can look at the bright side. The money I put in my FSA account can go towards this since I won't be giving birth in 2013. Gotta look at the bright side right? Lol

Re: HSG question
Not sure how much it is at Zwanger, but I had mine at Stony Brook and got banged with a +$1000.00 bill for my deductable...UGH!! Best of luck!!!!
Congrats on the injectables!!! IMO they work much better than the Clomid :) I had to take a class too at RSoNY before they would prescribe them. There is a charge for the class, i think its around $40/$50ish and it was a couple hours. It was really a waste, but they do go over EVERY med available and how to draw it up and inject.
